Defining Contact Types

To provide for the dynamic setup of contact types - PowerForce provides for the setup of your own contact types.

Introduction

PowerForce provides an ability to dynamically configure contact types within the system. The system uses these in areas such as the SMS module to bring back just the mobile number, and the email address when sending payslip notifications via email.

The system comes with various Contact Types already defined. If you need to create a new contact type:

Enter the code you wish to use in the Code field
Select the type of contact being defined via the radio buttons
Enter a description so that you remember what it’s used for.
