Creating Role Types - PowerForce Workshop™
|
Introduction
In rostering your staff to work, you may require that they perform the task of a specific role, such as works supervisor, or leading hand. To distingush this, you need to define a 'role type' for the shift.

Introduction
The allocation of a role type goes against a shift, not an employee. Once an employee is placed on that shift, the employee then acquires the attributes set against the role type.
If you charge your clients for work performed, the use of role types allows you to configure powerForce to automatically charge a specific charge rate based upon the "role type" of the shift.
