Introduction

Earning codes are the pay types an employee would earn such as normal, time and a half, double time etc. They are used in the Classification Codes (Position Codes) window to specify the types of pay for an employee position.

Explanation

Method

The method allows you to select how the earning code factor is applied. For example with a method of “Rate” and a “Factor” of 2.0 the employee would be paid twice-normal hourly pay. Other methods may be added at a later stage.

Group Certificate Box

This field define the location on the Group Certificate where this value will be reported.

Inclusions

Select which additional items will be included with this “Earning” code. In this example when the employee is paid at double time no “Superannuation” is accumulated, “Workers Compensation” is, “Rostered Days Off” and “Loadings” are not.
